International Master in Strategic Management

• Developing in-depth knowledge in the field of work, by presenting a research thesis with applicable results dealing with how to employ the basic concepts, principles and practices related to strategy formulation and implementation in the development of private and institutional projects.
• Conducting applied research by presenting theses dealing with analysis and critical evaluation of strategic challenges in business organizations, and developing creative solutions using a strategic management perspective in the framework of work teams.
• Integration of the knowledge gained and its application in the formulation and implementation of the strategy from a comprehensive, global and multi-purpose perspective.
• Analyzing and evaluating day-to-day administrative dilemmas from a critical perspective and developing innovative, strategic, long-term management solutions.
• Conducting and providing reliable business enterprise analysis applicable to multicultural work teams.
• Have the skills of effective practice of human resources tools and strategies, and employ them in achieving the integration of the organization’s strategy.
• Utilizing the outputs of the humanities and social sciences in developing new insights into best practices for strategic management.

If you choose to study in English for this program, you will need at least one of the following:

• IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
• English language certificate or a language knowledge self-statement.

You do not need such certification if you:

• From English speaking countries, or
• Holds a high school diploma from English speaking schools, or
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an English-speaking institution.
• Conditionally, he has been employed full-time in a European organization for the past two years. In this case, we need proof of duration and position and you will be required to take an English language test.
• passed a standard BARVQ exam.

The program consists of 5 units, all of which are compulsory: 

Foundations and practices of strategic management.

Strategy formulation, innovation, and entrepreneurship management.

Sustainable Business Management.

Strategic risk management.

Strategic execution; 

Research project. 

It is expected that the student, at the end of this program, will be able to:

• Strategic understanding of business mechanisms, through implementing a close look at entrepreneurship within different business environments.
• Critically evaluate current practices in strategic management within the organization.
  Provide a critical evaluation of the performance of strategic departments in implementing planned projects and programs as determined by key professional bodies locally and internationally.
• Demonstrate financial awareness of the sustainability of financing existing projects, managing change, and analyzing the challenges of the organization’s internal and external environment.
• Applying strategic management skills in evaluating strategic goals and activities, and determining their compatibility with the organization’s strategic capacity.
• Demonstrate deep proficiency in big data analysis, especially with regard to project management reports and records and strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrate deep competence in teamwork and creative leadership in business organizations.

Previous studies: to continue in the same major:

The student must have:

• University degree in a similar specialty or equivalent.

Work experience: to continue a different major

• University degree in a work-related subject, or equivalent international qualification from a learning institution recognized by BARVQ.
• If student doesn't have the academic or professional qualifications required above but have substantial managerial experience and a proven track record, we will also consider your application.

Student will need to submit:

Master in Strategic management

• Once the student successfully completes the (90) credit hours, he will be eligible to obtain a professional master’s degree in the same specialty.
• To be eligible for a professional master's degree in this specialization, the student will have to pass six of the educational courses shown in the above table, (5 compulsory, and one optional) in addition to the applied research project. Students who choose the full-time system will study 90 credit hours within 12 months, while part-time students will study 90 credit hours over a 24-month period.
