Intensified Educational Habilitation Diploma

The program focuses on the various knowledge that deals with the basics, sciences and curricula of education, as well as teaching methods for scientific, social and literary subjects. The trainee also receives training on how to manage the classroom, interact with students, develop their personalities and motivate their abilities. The trainee also learns how to evaluate the scientific abilities of students and determine each level. The educational and psychological aspect of consulting also has a role in this program, where the trainee learns how to deal psychologically with students, and how to deal with negative behaviors of students such as jealousy, aggression and delay in academic achievement.

To achieve his vision, the Intensive Educational Qualification Program offers modern academic programmes to train outstanding students in education, with a focus on teaching methods and classroom management, in order to prepare a qualified teacher to teach in different schools.

- The program combines theoretical study and practical practice, so that the student gets the highest degree of scientific qualification that allows him to form an integrated vision in his field.

Through this programme, the Belgian Academy for Research and Vocational Training seeks to prepare those wishing to work in the field of education for the labor market, enabling them to possess the basic knowledge and skills of the teaching profession in various fields of education.

For this course you will need at least one of the following:

  • IELTS 6.0 (minimum of 5.5 in each module)*

The program structure is as follows:

  • Compulsory subjects: 12 courses
  • Study material requirements: understanding - interacting - passing exams. Presenting seminars.
  • Practical training requirements: to conduct training in educational institutions.

  • Having knowledge and understanding of basic theories as well as pedagogical and psychological concepts.
  • Being able to use appropriate teaching methods and modern educational technologies in teaching.
  • Having theoretical knowledge and mastering practical subject-related methods concerning teaching and having the ability to join both of them.
  • Being able to use educational measurement and evaluation methods.
  • Having the appropriate intellectual skills that allow the teacher to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Having proficiency in research methods, survey and computer skills.
  • Demonstrating the educational and professional values needed for teaching and the good attitudes and behavior of a good citizenship.
  • Having the ability of continuous and lifelong self-learning.
  • Having a broad vision in terms of tackling teaching situations and taking appropriate decisions.

  • You should have an undergraduate degree at 2.2 or above, or equivalent qualification, from a recognized university or higher education institute.
  • Mature applicants without an undergraduate degree but with relevant business experience are encouraged to apply, subject to interview.
  • Applicants with professional qualifications and/or four years of full-time work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
  • For exemption: If you hold qualifications or courses from another higher education institution, these may exempt you from courses of this degree

Diploma / Educational Habilitation

  • The duration of the educational qualification diploma program is 3 months. It consists of 12 weeks, full time attendance, so that the total for the whole duration is 60 ECTS. The program consists of theoretical lectures and professional training in schools and duties that the student performs during the 3 months, and there is a theoretical exam at the end of duration. The scores in each subject are divided into 40 marks for the year work and training and 60 marks for the theoretical exam.
