Upon completing the Master's Program in International Relations and International Humanitarian Law, graduates are expected to have:
• Comprehensive Knowledge in these fields: Students will attain a comprehensive understanding of international relations, including theories, concepts, and historical context, as well as a deep grasp of international humanitarian law (IHL) principles and their application in contemporary conflicts.
• Analytical Skills: Graduates will develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills, enabling them to assess complex global issues, analyze security challenges, and identify effective conflict resolution strategies.
• Diplomacy and Multilateralism: Students will acquire a solid foundation in diplomatic theory and practice, gaining the skills required for successful international negotiations and consensus-building within the framework of multilateral diplomacy.
• Global Security Expertise: The program will equip students with expertise in global security dynamics, including an in-depth understanding of military conflicts, terrorism, and emerging threats, allowing them to contribute to global security discussions and policies.
• Ethical and Legal Proficiency: Graduates will have a strong ethical and legal grounding, particularly in the context of IHL and human rights. They will be able to assess ethical dimensions of humanitarian action and understand the legal aspects of IHL compliance and enforcement.
• Effective Communication: The program will enhance students' ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and in presentations, enabling them to convey complex ideas, negotiate diplomatically, and advocate for human rights and international humanitarian efforts.
This program is composed of the following units:
Unit 1: International Relations Fundamentals
Unit 2: Global Security and Conflict Analysis
Unit 3: Diplomacy and Multilateralism
Unit 4: International Political Economy
Unit 5: International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights
Unit 6: Research Project
To be eligible for the "Executive Master in International Relations and International Humanitarian Law", learner must successfully pass the compulsory units as indicated above.
To be eligible for admission to the Executive Master's Program in International Relations and International Humanitarian Law, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a relevant field (international relations, political science, law, etc.).
- Language proficiency in the language of instruction (e.g., English, Arabic & French).
- Letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and a current resume or curriculum vitae.
- Prerequisite courses may be required for those with non-relevant academic backgrounds.
Learner will need to submit:
- A Proof of identity - it could be a national identity card, your passport, or a legally valid document.
- A recent CV. and motivation letter.
- Copies of previous certificates and qualifications / Professional experience
This program will soon be available in French and Arabic. If you prefer to follow the program in one of these languages, simply indicate your preference in the application form, and we will promptly inform you once the program is ready in your chosen language.
If you choose to study in English for this program, you will need at least one of the following:

- From English speaking countries, or
- Holds a high school diploma from English speaking schools, or
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an English-speaking institution.
